![]() So, since I have written this review (November, 25th 2010) I have now waited for this book 1,600 Days. Stephenie's so fickle that wouldn't surprise me at all. If it ever get's written, the book could be about something completely different. But, since there is no release date, how do we as a partially loyal fandom even know that won't change. The book does have a paragraph description. It was supposed to come out this year, just like it was supposed to come out in 2012. Whoever edits goodreads has smartly taken down a release year. You have the right to know EXACTLY how long we wait for this book that is still not written. my one true calling, to keep up with this review. I don't use goodreads as much as I used to, mainly because I have a job now, which is what I should be doing even as I type this. ![]() I still maintain this book will never be written. Do we have to have another book? The fandom is practically dead. OMG! The Seeker is to be released in 2015! I'm so excited! I've only been waiting.įOUR YEARS FOR IT!!!! Add another year. IF she ever writes it, it will be just to get more money from the movie deals she will get. I'll probably be 30 by the time this book finally gets written. Shouldn't it be more objective than that?Īlso, just to note, this book should have come out last year, and it still doesn't have A) A proper blurb, B) A cover, or C) A reliable author. This blurb sounds way to excited for two Host sequels. I wonder if goodreads can be edited by users, like Wikipedia. ![]() "Stephenie Meyer has confirmed that there will be two Host sequels!" <- current blurb. Edit May 8th, 2012: See this -> 'Stephenie Meyer has said that she might write two sequels to The Host.' 'Stephenie Meyer has said that she might write two sequels to The Host.' <- That is in the blurb! How shameful!!!! I hate to sound so mean, but I'll believe it when I read it. Midnight Sun, anyone? Just because she said on Oprah (or where ever) she hoped to do two sequels to her best book, doesn't mean she will. Stephenie is like the most unreliable author out there. To come out in 2012? They should really add a 'Maybe' after that. :O Yeah, I know your jaw has dropped in awe at the immensity of my amazingness :D See? I wasn't scared at all and I killed some one off in a dangerous world full of lampposts and holes within a couple of seconds Sophia, walks straight into a lamppost, falls back into a hole and dies a painful death. You're scared to kill people off because the world you write in is a dangerous place? Sorry did I just read that correctly or are my eyes deceiving me? You're an author for gods sake! Killing pretend people off is your job!? And you weren't exactly scared about killing off James now were you? or what's-his-name, James's sidekick! It really isn't that scary, see look i'm hardly professional and I can easily write an epic story with death. I would like for there to be a sequel and even if I didn't I'd probably still read it anyway so.īut really Stephenie Meyer- I think your excuse for being unsure as to write this book is terribly lame. I have to say i found the host so gripping and the story line was pretty good. You're scared to kill people off because the world you write in is a dangerous place? Sorry did I just read that correctly or are my eyes deceiving me? Y ahh i loved the host, despite my hatred of the twilight series. But really Stephenie Meyer- I think your excuse for being unsure as to write this book is terribly lame.
